How to Install Fun Fonts on your Computer

I am a total font geek. You can be one too! Follow these simple steps to install fonts on your computer.

Windows

It is a best practice to make sure that all your applications are closed before your install any fonts. (I rarely follow this rule and my computer is still running well!)

Open and unzip the file that you downloaded. You should find the .ttf font file(s) inside the extracted zip file.
Go to Start > Control Panel
Double-click the Fonts folder.
Open the folder where you extracted the .ttf file.
Select the fonts (.ttf files) that you want to install and drag and drop them into your fonts folder.

Mac

Again, it is a best practice to make sure that all your applications are closed before your install any fonts.

Extract the .sit file that you downloaded using Stuffit Expander.
Find the fonts you want to install inside the extracted sit file.
Choose the fonts that you want to install.
Locate the System Folder and drag and drop the font files into the Fonts folder.
If you have the Font Book application, you may wish to install the fonts using Font Book instead.
