I have to admit, I’m a bit of a blog-a-holic. It started as a news fetish and began when I became obsessed with following the 2008 presidential election. I swear I updated Drudge Report ten times a day. With the election hype over, I had to feed my news addiction. Instead of news, I turned to home decorating and party planning blogs! These were much more fun than politics and updated just as regularly; why hadn’t I discovered them before?! The new task began bookmarking each blog I found and meticulously going to each one everyday to check for updates. Not to mention, trying to remember URLs when I was checking from my iPhone.
My blog obsession was a time consuming mess until last month when I discovered the wonderful Google Reader. Google Reader allows you to add your favorite blogs to its feed and shows them in a convenient “inbox” layout. Best of all, its pretty mobile setting allows me to read any updates from my iPhone without having to load big website pages.
